I had so much fun doing card challenges last week that I wanted to make sure to enter again this week! Two of the challenges I found were pretty similar this week; Dutch Dare is hosting their ABAC Challenge – Anything BUT a Card, and Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog is hosting a 3-D Project Challenge.

I was actually a little disappointed at first, since I was eager to make some cards and couldn’t think of any 3D projects to do. Pouty-faced, I went back to applying paint to my newest order of Birthday Blocks….which I use paper/vinyl on….which are cut with my Cricut….wait a tic!
Birthday Blocks are 3D!!!
(….clearly, the little strikes of lightning have a big impact on me.)
So for each of these challenges, I am entering my latest design in Birthday Blocks! This set was custom designed for a client – for inspiration I was given “gender neutral” (not finding out the sex) and “she’s very Pottery Barn”. I used Plantin Schoolbook for the numbers and Pooh Font for the words on this set – I hope they fit the bill!
Now I’m off to enter the challenges – if you are ever interested in having some serious papercrafting fun, you should definitely check out both Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog and Dutch Dare Card Challenges. Get some inspiration, chat with fellow paper-crafters, maybe win a prize! Just have some fun!
