Most crafty people I think have a tendency to get a little bit lost in all their creativity and the general hoard of stuff you can accumulate. I mean, how many times do you pick up a clearance item or discarded furniture piece, thinking to yourself, “I can make something with that!”?
I’m guilty of doing this all the time. Over the years, I’ve accumulated a crazy stash of wood supplies, ribbon, stickers, craft paper – and it goes on like this. Since I work from home, my craft space is also my office, pulling double duty. It’s also where we keep all our home office papers, bills, and mail.
My desk space is a particular disaster, as it becomes the “drop it here” space for all manner of kids stuff, mail, or just things my husband isn’t sure what to do with!
Okay, okay, I’m guilty of letting my crafty clutter pile on it as well. This might actually be considered clean vs how it looked over the holidays!
Once you jump over to my computer desk, we continue the pile up with office equipment, my dual monitors (which kick ass!), more mail, and my notebooks and things I use for work.
The first goal in the challenge is to fix your work space issues, so when you check back next week, my two desks should be in top form!
