- My childhood dream job was to be a Disney animator. I used to spend hours trying to recreate Disney characters from the old VHS clamshell covers. Sleeping Beauty is still my favorite Disney classic.
- My blog name was inspired by the “Get Happy” number by Judy Garland in “Summer Stock” – my favorite movie! The little hat in my logo is from the original artwork, a female avatar in Judy’s costume dancing with a paintbrush.
- I will have a total panic attack if I have to climb a tall ladder or tread deep water. NOPE! (And don’t get me STARTED on spiders. . . )
- My resume includes jobs as a dog-walker, bartender, perfume hawker, insurance manager, and actress. I’ve met some of the most interesting people across these different paths, famous and non.
- I always say “Ow!” when I drop or fumble something – even thought it causes me ZERO pain.
