The leaves are turning, which means fall isn’t far off. Decorating an autumn table can be a pretty and fun method for transitioning out of the summer slump! I wasn’t quite ready to dig all my old autumn decor out of the basement, so I opted to do a little light shopping instead!
Do you treat yourself to at least one or two new decor pieces with the season changes? It’s not like you need to go crazy, but picking up an item here and there makes decorating fun while slowly building up your stash for the future.
My go to for all my home decor is Wayfair. You can get so many wonderful deals on great items! Here’s what caught my eye from their fall collection:

Pumpkins and Pine Cones Fall Garland
I originally intended to decorate both my dining room table and my front door. However, our weather has been either 95+ degrees or rainy and miserable, so decorating my front door will have to wait.
I thought the garland might actually make a nice centerpiece on my long dark wood dining room table – I think I was right!
I have a collection of ceramic pumpkins from over the years, so this new pumpkin jar is a perfect fit! I haven’t dug my other ones out yet, but this one is such a perfect fit in the center of the table that the rest of mine can likely help decorate a few other rooms!
Decorating an autumn table is not difficult to do, and it can add so much to your home decor when you are ready for the season. I wasn’t sure I was ready to let go of summer, but I’m getting excited for the cooler fall breezes and rich autumn colors.
I have been busy making pumpkins from upcycled $1 GW clothes. Such fun. NOW I need to go out in the yard and find a bunch of dead sticks to trim up for stems as I used up the grapevine branches I had cut! They look so great mixed in with ceramic, glass, and styrofoam pumpkins and gourds! Love your table runner; my poor table is chronically covered in craft projects!
I’m fortunate to have a separate room for crafting, but trust me it is still a mess!!! This table formerly was covered with an array of serving dishes and party supplies from my son’s bday last month, haha! I would love some grapevine branches!
I’ve been assessing my “stash” and deciding what stays and what goes … and what I need to get. Love your new items! happy almost Fall!
Thanks! I’ve departed with some of my “stash” over time, as it breaks or becomes outdated. One or two new things a year works for me!
I love your fall tablescape it came out charming.
