Have I mentioned I love movies? I’m sure I have once or twice…or forty times, whatever.
Christmas is a favorite time of year for me for many reasons, including all the wonderful Christmas films and specials I look forward to each year. I have a “Movie Monday” post in the works for next week to go over those in detail, don’t you worry, but until then, I wanted to share an idea I had for some free Christmas printables while enjoying some of these specials with my son.

Unless you’ve never turned on a TV during the month of December, you’re probably at least vaguely familiar with the old Claymation Christmas classics like “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and “The Year Without a Santa Claus“.
These kinds of treats are some of my absolute favorites every year, and I always find myself singing along to all the songs. Often, I realize what great lyrics can be found, even in simple cartoon specials. I thought a few of them would make some cute Christmas printables!
I just love these lyrics from “The Year Without A Santa Claus“. How pretty would this be in a white frame for Christmas?
I got the idea for my other one from another special I love each year – “Twas the Night Before Christmas“.
There’s this great song Father Mouse sings to his brainy son about seeing past the facts and figures in life – I think it makes a great lesson for life in general, and especially at Christmas.
I hope you enjoy these printables, and find some wonderful places to share them in your holiday decor! 🙂
