This Halloween Candy Bar would work out awesome for a Halloween party, less so for trick-or-treaters. You can easily decorate for various party themes!

You guys, Halloween is RIGHT.AROUND.THE.CORNER. Say Wha????

I don’t know about you, but between costumes (which I even DIY usually), and candy, Halloween can be an expensive holiday. This year I decided to cheat.

I’m still working on our costumes (post to come later), but I’ve already stocked my candy supply, and it looks MIGHTY pretty.  See, I sort of set up a serve yourself “Candy Bar”.

This would work out awesome for a Halloween party, less so for trick-or-treaters. I set it up for decoration and to let the family know “HANDS OFF!!!” until Halloween, so it will double as both decoration and Halloween candy. DIY Halloween Candy “Bar” for the WIN!!

If I have to live with it for a few more weeks, it better be pretty!  (And if I have to feed a hundred trick or treaters, it better be cost-effective! Amiright??)

Off to Wal-mart I go.

Candy aisle. I’m on the right track. Hershey’s GIANT goodie bag?? Yeah, I’m all over that.

JACKPOT!!!!

Ok, so once I secured the candy, I rounded up the goodies for decorating, I already had several platters available, and I made other uses of my silver candle holders. Waste not, want not, right??

Set up your Halloween Candy “Bar” by adding little decos and alternating height and color.

I hung some cheesecloth haphazardly to add to the spooky vibe.

Try to mix up your candy colors for a more appealing look.

I took advantage of old decos, like this spider and the ghost candle holders. Topped with candy, they added a great decor to the Candy “bar”.

Reese’s are the absolute FAVORITE in our house. Must be a BIG container!

Twizzlers are another fave. Hubby doesn’t mind them, but they are my go to movie snack.

Make an easy candy container using stickers and scrapbook paper. Just glue them to a dish!

The best part is you can make your “candy bar” and still save your $$!!  These Hershey’s Variety Bags are $15 each, and last forever! See the spread in these pictures?? Not even the ENTIRETY of the bags! There’s still more!  Check out the video!

Who wants candy!?!? @walmart #trickorsweet #linkinprofile
