Happy Sunday evening to you all!
I hate technology sometimes. I already wrote this post. I wrote it twice and failed to save it. {High school horrors revisited.} Now I get to write it again, though likely not quite as eloquently.
I wanted to share with you a quick and easy way of making your own nursery art. If you’ve no nursery to decorate, this will still make an amazing and simple gift for baby shower gifts.
I made this art for my youngest son’s nursery. I had already chosen an orange and blue color scheme when we decided to turn the guest room of our new home into our baby’s nursery. I will eventually post the full reveal of the room makeover, but for now I’m sharing the DIY Nursery Art that I started with.
I took some 12×12 wood craft canvas, some paint, cardstock, and spray adhesive to make a cute addition to my son’s nursery.
You could easily use vinyl on this project, but since I use vinyl all the time, I wanted to go a different way. I guess I’m complex that way, lol. I did use a very thin, almost wafer-like paper for this project, so it was nearly vinyl like.
I cut the sentiment on my Cricut, using my Word Collage Baby cut. I had used it before on my Baby Card and loved it, so it seemed fitting.
Use Spray Adhesive to adhere to the wood.
I really wish I had more to say, but it is that simple. Well, I suppose, if you have a Cricut. {I do love that machine.} You could defintely stencil or even freehand the same sign. I loved putting this simple sign together for my son.
