Simple Candle Decorations for Autumn

I love Fridays, but only when I’ve had a good, productive week. I tend to get uber lazy on the weekends, so if I don’t have all my ducks in a row by Friday, Mondays are never good. Today feels good!

You may have noticed fall throwing up all over my blog lately. I can’t help it! We had one cool week, and I was in the ZONE! I had to start decorating. {Be sure to stop by tomorrow for my Fall Home Tour post!}

One absolute must have for the season? CANDLES!!! C’mon, it isn’t fall if it doesn’t smell like it! I don’t really like having branded jars sitting around, so today I want to show you some simple candle decorations to dress up your seasonal decor!

I’ve already dressed my dining room for autumn, and that’s where I tucked in my new seasonal fragrances. After finally completing my stenciled wall, the dining room is my new favorite place! Of course it was the first to get pimped!

All you need to dress up your fall candles is some double-sided tape, ribbon, and scissors. It doesn’t get more simple than that!

My first fragrance purchases this season were a 12oz tumbler of Pumpkin Apple Harvest and two 4oz tumblers in Banana Walnut Bread and Ginger Pumpkin Pie, all by American Home™ by Yankee Candle® brand. Oh come on, you know this is when the eating gets good! May as well smell like yum!

Peel off the label, and apply your double stick tape where you want your ribbon to go.

Wrap your ribbon around the jar and secure in the back. You can also skip the double-stick tape by using washi or decorated tape instead!

This is just stupid simple. You just have to wrap the tape where you want it on the candle! (How have I not discovered this stuff before!?)

All that took a total of like fifteen minutes. Figuring out where to place them took longer than decorating them!

Remember to always follow candle usage instructions to the TEE!!! Never leave unattended or near flammable materials. I would never burn the candles near the faux foliage I have pictured above, and neither should you!
