I had a lot of fun assembling this Snowman Hot Cocoa Bar on my dining room buffet. For one, it gave me a fun decor concept for a space I normally struggle with during the holidays. For two, I had a great place to use my (part) of my collection of snowmen that I had no room for elsewhere! I figured a hot cocoa bar was a great place for a group of snowmen to hang out and maybe even melt a few pounds!

The nice thing about setting this up now for the hop is now my dining room looks so pretty for the rest of the month! The hard part was keeping my family’s hands off it until I was sure I had my pictures, ha! Ah, blogger life struggles.
I snapped up four new flavors for a varied hot cocoa bar mix at the store; French Vanilla, Arctic White, Chocolate Supreme, and Mint. (I thought I had four of those Snowman Hot Cocoa Mugs, but I could only find three!)
I loved how easy it was to set up my Snowman Hot Cocoa Bar. Of course I already HAD the snowmen (and these guys are the tip of the iceberg of my collection, trust me), but I also had most of the rest of the ingredients! I nabbed these candy cane sticks at 5Below, already in perfectly cute little containers!
I used melting chocolate I had in my baking cupboard to dip the large marshmallows in, then rolled them in broken candy cane bits and Christmas colored sprinkles. I did a few different versions.
I applied the same technique to some plastic spoons leftover from our many birthday parties. How better to stir hot cocoa than with a chocolate spoon?!

For the adults (and let’s be real, lots of adults need liquid therapy during winter break/Christmas season), I added a small corner of goodies!
You could easily add vanilla vodka, caramel vodka, even Irish whiskey! (We prefer Jameson, tee hee.) I stocked my bar with peppermint flavored Kahlua, Amaretto, and a few mini Bailey’s Irish Cream bottles. Nothing wrong with adding a little warmth to your belly besides the hot cocoa! 🙂

Thank you!!! I’m enjoying it, but not as much as my husband?
Thanks!!
Very nice hot chocolate stand,,, I like the adult additions to it. I like how you have the things at different heights, it adds interest and flare.
Thank you!
