These no bake “Chewie” chocolate pretzel wookie cookies are the perfect addition to any Star Wars party or movie night! Did you know that this May is the FORTIETH anniversary of the original Star Wars??? Ok, am I seriously the only one geeked out by that? I didn’t think so. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – I DON’T BAKE. I mean, not really. I can make it if it comes out of a box or a package with specific instructions. My culinary skills are really more of the “let’s toss some spices and things together until dinner forms” line of skills. I’m pretty successful that way. But baking is such a precise art that I rarely venture into new territory.
Lately, however, I’ve been more and more about trying new things, and keeping to unprocessed, “whole” foods. I’m not about to pretend this recipe is healthy, but at least it has ingredients you can recognize and pronounce. 🙂
Did any of you wonder if you’d found the right blog? Haha, no worries, I completely understand your confusion. As you know. . . I don’t post recipes. At least, I never really have, save for my one Chicago Style Pizza. After that monstrosity, it is no wonder I never posted another! You know, plus I’m not a food blogger, or really a cook. I mean, I cook. Same as any spouse/parent, I cook to feed my family. Sometimes I get creative, but mostly it is pretty mundane. So why am I changing it up now? Well, I’ve been doing a new diet with the hubs that has sort of got me back in the kitchen. We’ve been doing the ketogenic diet, and it has been going well!

I haven’t even been able to get my posts together for anything this week! In the midst of all the chaos of life, I definitely need to take some time for more organization. I can’t complain too much – we’ve been having… Continue Reading
