Crafty Quickie: Free Christmas Printables

Free Christmas Printables

Have I mentioned I love movies? I’m sure I have once or twice…or forty times, whatever.

Christmas is a favorite time of year for me for many reasons, including all the wonderful Christmas films and specials I look forward to each year. I have a “Movie Monday” post in the works for next week to go over those in detail, don’t you worry, but until then, I wanted to share an idea I had for some free Christmas printables while enjoying some of these specials with my son.

Unless you’ve never turned on a TV during the month of December, you’re probably at least vaguely familiar with the old Claymation Christmas classics like “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and “The Year Without a Santa Claus“.

These kinds of treats are some of my absolute favorites every year, and I always find myself singing along to all the songs. Often, I realize what great lyrics can be found, even in simple cartoon specials. I thought a few of them would make some cute Christmas printables!

I just love these lyrics from “The Year Without A Santa Claus“. How pretty would this be in a white frame for Christmas?

I got the idea for my other one from another special I love each year – “Twas the Night Before Christmas“.

There’s this great song Father Mouse sings to his brainy son about seeing past the facts and figures in life – I think it makes a great lesson for life in general, and especially at Christmas.

What a great idea! Although I do not have any children and have not heard of these particular movies I could think of a few real classics where the words would also be very good to put around in a frame in your homes!

I love the classics when it comes to Christmas shows. I am making a few canvas prints for my house and will be using some of your printables. I will use the last one as a canvas print for my mother!

These are awesome! I grew up watching those movies and my children watch them with me now. I love them! I never thought to put the lyrics in pretty font and display! Love this!

I love the classics and adore the fact the kiddo enjoys them as well. I’m on the hunt for one of those frames that store their drawings and you can change them out. I’d love to have an extra one handy for all the great printables we collect and enjoy!

Great printables. I also love those classic movies around the holidays! I need to catch a few with my kids this holiday season. Just hard to sit through commercials on t.v.
