Welcome back to the next installment in my Disneyland Themed Party Series!
Today I’m focusing on the food we served for H’s first birthday bash. If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the Party Decorations, Birthday Outfit, and Invitations I already shared!
So let’s get to it! This post contains affiliate links – read my full disclosure here.
In keeping with the Disneyland theme, each “land” I created had food to go with it. Be sure to grab your free printable labels at the end if you want to throw your own Disney themed bash!
New Orleans Square
New Orleans Square for me means two things: Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Haunted Mansion. For the Pirates table, I used a black food pen to draw pirate faces on Babybel cheeses and create an edible “Pirate Crew“.
A slow cooker contained delicious barbecue meatballs (bbq sauce and grape jelly!), which we named “Cannonballs“.
Knowing full well there would be plenty of sugar, I added in some healthier treats with our “Pirate Swords” – carrot sticks speared through cucumber slices.
Moving on to The Haunted Mansion!
Black olives make easy spiders for our “Deviled Spider Eggs“. These were gobbled up in no time!
Some more healthy party snacks, and decorating string cheese with a sharpie is a super simple way to create “Ghost Sticks”.
Fantasyland
The kitchen served as Fantasyland, and the bulk of the food available. Using a Mickey Mouse cookie cutter, we made Mickey shaped cheese slices and sandwiches, letting guests decided which meats they wanted and if they decided to add cheese or not.
For the princess cupcakes, I went very simple, using store bought cupcakes in different colors and adding princess cupcake toppers.
One of many beverage options was our Mad Hatter’s Iced Tea.
For the main course, we offered up Pluto’s Hot Dog Bar.
Corn dogs were a frugal and delicious choice, perfect for “theme park” style dining. They disappeared pretty fast, and everyone raved about them. Simple but effective!
For the adult guests, we offered up two forms of sangria, red and white. How better to fit the theme than Snow White and the Evil Queen?
We served up the Wicked Queen’s Poisoned Apple Potion and Snow White’s Sweet Sangria.
Critter Country
I forgot to take a picture of it, but this was the label I put on a cooler of water bottles. 😉 Cheeky!
Tomorrowland
Another cooler offered up “Buzz Lightbeer”. More cheek! 😉
Main Street USA
This counter was our one little corner of Main Street, and popcorn is perfect!
Dessert Table
The cream of the crop was our dessert table. The cookies were homemade by myself and my cousin, who has taken a interest in cookie decoration. It was a lot of trial and error on these guys!
My other cousin has passion for cupcakes and baking. She was sweet enough to create these gorgeous cupcakes for the party, as well as H’s smash cake.
Mini Oreo ears! How cute is that??
So there you have it! What do you think of my Disneyland themed party food spread?
Don’t forget your free printables!!
What other Disneyland Food Ideas would you have thought of?
Hello, can I ask where you got the corn dogs from? and/or most of your recipes featured here? I am hosting my daughter’s 3rd bithday, disneyland themed and I was thinking of serving corn dogs as well! Thanks in advance
Hi there! I got my corn dogs from Sam’s Club in bulk, but they were State Fair brand, and I believe you can find them in most grocery stores! Hope all goes well for your little girl’s party!
Hello,
First I have to say I LOVE everything about this theme party!!!!
With that said can you please tell me where you found the printable for the Snow White drink label and how do you edit the text? We are having a non-alcoholic party, so Snow White’s label will be lemonade.
Thanks for all the great ideas! Can you share where you got the popcorn maker?
Thank you! I don’t recall exactly where I found mine, but I did find a similar one here! (affiliate link) https://amzn.to/3WD13Ke
The printable link doesn’t work anymore :(. Any chance you could reshare/post it?
Hi Carrie – I’ve actually reset the labels to a printable template link – You can now subscribe above to get the free printables! 🙂
