Pretty Printables: SO MANY FONTS

Good morning(afternoon?) my lovelies!  I know I haven’t done a Pretty Printables in quite some time, but my goal is to get back in the swing of it this year!

Anyone notice my Pretty Printables logo has changed? Allow me to remind you of the oldie:

Pretty Printables

Blech!!

Yes, it sort of tied in with my blog design, but honestly, what was I thinking? Not fresh, clean, or bright. And THAT is my mood to start the year, so I needed a revamp.

**this post contains affiliate links**

There’s also the fact that I have been having way too much fun playing around with design again, thanks to a fresh batch of fonts I just downloaded.

I love fonts.

What is it about fonts that gets us all excited!? (Maybe not you, but my guess is if you’re reading this DIY/crafty blog, then, well, yes – you.) Being able to express ourselves in a variety of designs is just happiness, IMO. So I was thrilled to be contacted by the excellent peeps at Font Bundles.

Font Bundles is a website devoted to offering up sweet and amazing fonts, and they have an ever-changing array to choose from! If you’ve ever bought a font, you know they are KILLER expensive. And while I’m sure many of us (tsk tsk!) have used fonts for commercial use without buying them, that’s a big No-No and sure to catch up with you someday.

So Font Bundles sells fonts, but at insanely low prices – and they have freebies all the time!! Also, the commercial license is included, so you are safe to sell your creations!

So here’s what I got:

I also nabbed their free Christmas bundle and free font of the week – don’t miss it! Anyways, I got to work playing with all the amazing font-y goodness asap, and realized I definitely needed to overhaul my Printables logo. So that happened.

Then, I set to work on a free printable for all you duckies for this week. I know we’re mid January, but I figure most of us are still in cleaning/organization mode, so a handy To Do list sounded about right.

You can download it via this link – but now I must digress!

When going to post this this morning, I was saddened to hear about the loss of one of my most beloved talents, the great Alan Rickman. I can’t put into words how sad it made me, or even why – but Jenny at The Bloggess did a beautiful job so I’m just going to send you guys over there for a tick to read her glowing post, then pop back over, because we aren’t done! {I’ll wait.}

Ok, now that you’re back {and possibly misty-eyed)  I am adding in my SECOND free printable today, in honor of dear Mr. Rickman. Likely this will be more of a Facebook share than a printable, but I love this quote of his.

{Psst! You can share it here!}

All of the fonts I used for both printables were included in the Logo Bundle – which is currently 15% off!  (Details below)

In addition, the fab folks at Font Bundles are offering all C’mon Get Crafty readers 15% off ALL their font bundles!! Use coupon code GETCRAFTY at checkout to score your deal – and this is good until the end of the year!!

Sweet.

great f onts for all sorts of projects

Fonts used above include GreatPark, LovelyMelissa, Hugo, Seilla, and Handy. All are part of the Logo Bundle.

What is your favorite thing to create with fun fonts?
