Silhouette Shirt : Silhouette Monthly Challenge

Ok, well, this post isn’t quite time-centric. I made this shirt for St. Patrick’s Day this year, and I assumed you guys might be interested. 🙂 All it takes is a fun idea, a blank tank, and  your Silhouette machine.

I had a hard time choosing, but eventually made my choice of designs.It fit with this month’s challenge, so here you go! Yes, mine is St. Patrick’s themed, but you can take this technique and let your imagination roam. 🙂

Once I made my choice, I cut it on clear vinyl for a template, and laid it on a plain green tank top I got at Target. Using a sponge brush and some white fabric paint, I started blotting in the design.

After a bit of drying time, the vinyl was peeled off and the design unveiled….I stupidly didn’t take any photos WEARING the shirt, but I shall blame that on a corned beef-induced brain coma. 🙂 However, much fun was had!!
