Sláinte!!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone!! On this fabulous holiday, I thought I’d share with you a bit of Irish decor and a quick how to!
I actually made these last year, and one of them was a gift for my Irish besty. I very appropriately kept the “Irish I Were Drinking” for myself. 😉
You can use any wood you like, and any phrase you want – go nuts! I used some craft wood I had on stash.

How To Make Your St. Patrick’s Day Craft
Supplies
Wood
Vinyl
Acrylic Paint
Step One
Paint your wood. Man, that was easy!! I used *DecoArt Americana Acrylics Festive Green for this project.
Step Two
Decide on your phrase or design, and cut it! If you are still without an electronic cutter, you can hand cut some fun letters and shapes. Me? I’m spoiled, so I used my Silhouette to cut out my phrases in vinyl.
Step Three
You can freely stick your chosen designs on your painted board, or you can use *Transfer Tape.
If you have a phrase, you might want the ease of *Transfer Tape to make sure it lines up evenly and straight. Simply apply the tape to the design or phrase, smooth lightly to adhere, and then center it on your board. Take a credit card/knife/*Bone Folder, and smooth your design against the board, then slowly peel off the tape.
That’s it!! You are done. I made the long board for my friend, and kept the short one for myself. 😉 Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!
