Backstage Pass

Hey there, VIP!  How lucky are YOU?? You have been invited to get a backstage glimpse of the life behind C’mon Get Crafty!

(I know, you’re seriously considering yourself lucky now, aren’t you?)

Truth is, if you’re following the blog, or my Facebook page (and if so, thank you!), then you know I’ve been a little overwhelmed with the cross-country relocation. We’re three weeks settled back in the Land of Lincoln, and I have LOT of good posts coming to make up for my lack, I promise.

In the meantime, I thought we’d practice something new here on the blog: backstage passes! I love seeing peeks behind the curtain of my favorite blogs, so why not offer the same on my own?  For this peek, I’m giving you a glimpse of my son’s last outing with his two little friends in Vegas: a trip to the new and improved Las Vegas Discovery Children’s Museum!

Las Vegas Children's Discovery Museum

Look how cute these three are!!! Worst part about leaving was separating my little man from his first and best buddies. 🙁

This outing took place without me, as it occurred on one of our last days in Sin City. The kiddos got a day of fun while the hubs and I got a day of directing movers.

Las Vegas Discovery Children's Museum

Las Vegas recently relocated and improved their Discovery Children’s Museum, and I had been wanting to take J to it before we left. Time simply didn’t permit, so when his little buddy M’s mom offered to take him with their friend S and her mom, I had to let go of my selfish Mom desire to take him myself and let him have a great time with his friends!

The museum sports a lot of interactive exhibits, like Toddler Town, Eco City, Fantasy Festival, and Patents Pending; unique areas for kids to play, pretend, run ragged, and learn.

They look like they had so much fun! We will have to make certain to reunite these Three Musketeers for a reunion in the future. 🙂

What is your favorite place to take your children with their friends?
