This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of At Home for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
Okay, I know – Halloween just ended, and we still have Thanksgiving to go. So why am I posting about Christmas!?
Because it’s my blog and I’ll post if I want to.
Ha, ok, maybe not. I do get super excited about Christmas, but even I can usually hold off until at least mid-November. No, this early post is all for your benefit! In the internet world, people start shopping ideas early, so I need to get them out there for you!
I obviously enjoy my fair share of DIY, but I usually limit it to one or two new projects per holiday. There’s just too much to do otherwise! Instead, I like to focus on picking up one or two new items at stores that cater to my tastes.
This year I got a few new goodies from the At Home Christmas Decor section, and I used them to prep my design for a simple holiday tablescape. {Any excuse to pull out the wedding china!}
At Home has decorations for every room in the house, so I’m sure I’ll end up picking up a few more items for my living room and foyer as it gets a bit closer, but for now I stuck with my dining room focus. Their everyday low prices mean I can come back whenever I like for the other rooms!
This cute little woodland Santa was a no-brainer. How adorable is he!? He was part of At Home’s “Snowcapped Scene” collection, and he just stole my heart.
This dashing fellow was a little outside the norm for me, but I fell in love with him. Our wedding china is blue, so I like to mix in the traditional red and hints of silver where I can. He also added some necessary height to the landscape. 🙂
This beautiful centerpiece votive holder was a must-nab for me, and I added in the pretty red and white striped place mats as well. I just love all the pops of color, and the glimmer of the silvery candle!
I wanted to keep the design simple, so you have plenty of space and room to appreciate the decor. 🙂
No matter what your style for the holidays is, I would highly recommend you check out the At Home in your area. They have so many different style themes for Christmas! You could easily shop all one theme, or mix and match!
They are a one-stop shop too, since they have decor and items for every room in the house, seasonal and otherwise. I may or may not have appreciatively eyed a few bar stools while I was shopping, but I was a good girl and stuck to the holiday purchases. 🙂 If we weren’t die hard about cutting down our own Christmas tree, I’d probably end up in their Tree for Me lot for that as well – they have 101 different varietals of artificial Christmas Trees.
If you are looking for some excellent Christmas decorations this year, I suggest you check out the various themes At Home has available.
Themes include:
Seas & Greetings | Holiday Hoedown | Lavish and Luxe | Peppermint Jazz | Berry Platinum | Forest Fairy Tales | Crystal Chateau | Cherished Memories | Heaven and Earth | Midnight Plume | Regal Renaissance | Snowcapped Scene | Handcrafted from Around the World | Dem Darlings | Handcrafted
What are your favorite Christmas decorations?
I love linking up at these parties!
