“I Love You Like” Valentine’s Day Free Printable – TV Love

People warned me, they told me this would happen, but I never thought much of it. Then I caught myself binge-watching all seven seasons like a glutton at a Vegas buffet. And it.was.AWESOME.

Do you have a TV show that you love? One that you invest in, that you really care about watching because of how much you enjoy it? I tend to get involved with shows after they have been around for a while, after the initial hype wears down. I didn’t watch Friends until it was nearly over, and started loving Scrubs when it began syndication.

My friends nicknamed me “Monica” long before I met my husband, due to my, erm, slight –cough– competitive spirit, and the fact that like Monica, I’m happiest when I’m cleaning. Little did I know, I would find my real-life Chandler. 🙂

Oh, he claims he’s Joey, but he’s TOTALLY Chandler. He couldn’t BE anymore Chandler.

Anyhoo, once I started watching Castle, it occurred to me that I was seeing our relationship in yet another TV couple! The signs were all there, character traits matching up beautifully with who we are…so I told my husband the truth.

“Honey, I love you. I love you like… like… like Castle loves Beckett.”

Because in this scenario, my husband is Beckett.

I am SOOOO Castle.

He basically gave me that look – which I struggled not to point out closely resembled the Beckett look when Castle says something outrageous – and let it go.

Inspiration had struck, however, so I created this Valentine’s free printable, for anyone else out there who knows how to say “I love you” in TV.

I’ve already used my printable design to create my hubby’s Valentine’s gift – I uploaded it to my Zazzle store, and created this fun coffee mug. I’m sure he’ll love having this to brighten his office and provoke curiosity from co-workers. Hee hee. . .
