Crafty Quickie: Valentine’s Day Stamping Fun!

Today’s crafty quickie was inspired by the -eek!- two-days-away Valentine’s holiday!

This past weekend, I let J loose with some of my less-used rubber stamps and some Valentine paint colors. J is somewhat finicky, so finger painting doesn’t really go over well with him. But, as we saw during his Triple Toddler Playdate, he’s always up for paintbrushes and other mediums.

Supplies are simple! All you need:

~ Craft paint or finger paint

~paint brushes of various sizes

~paper (I gave him some glossy photo paper and card stock for different results)

~stamps

Small Tupperware bowls serve as great paint containers. I had a large white board in my craft closet, so I set that up to protect the small table he was working at.

That’s it! No rules, just let ’em go! J had the best time just stamping the different shapes all over. Actually, I think his favorite part was painting the stamps BEFORE he stamped them.
