Creative Irish Recipes for St. Patrick’s Day

Ok, ok, I know that Valentine’s Day is still a week away, but I can’t help myself. I’m already thinking about CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE. {Pardon my drool}.

St. Patrick’s Day is one of my favorite holidays. I’m proud to have more than a fair share of Irish blood, and I love that I have an excellent excuse for Irish coffee, green beer, and delicious, mouth-watering Irish recipes all day long.

In the past I’ve mastered my corned beef and cabbage crockpot dinner and Irish brown bread, but I’m always on the lookout for new dishes to serve up to my German-Irish husband.

This is where the interwebs are so great – so many talented bloggers have already put out their fantastic Irish recipes for me to sample from!

I’m not sure I can wait until St. Patty’s to make these Irish Nachos; Lisa over at Cooking with Curls makes it look too tempting!!

Now, just in case you are new to Irish cooking, I’m throwing in a traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage recipe, courtesy of the wonderful ladies at Just 2 Sisters.

Another great recipe that wouldn’t require waiting for St. Patrick’s Day to roll around is this phenomenal looking Reuben Dip from Two Healthy Kitchens. You could make this for the Super Bowl tomorrow even!

Since the hubby and I are still trying to stay low-carb as much as possible, I had to throw in one of those options. I Breathe I’m Hungry is one of my go-to sites for low-carb versions of my favorite foods, and she did not disappoint me with these Corned Beef and Cabbage Meatballs!

More good party versions of Irish recipes would definitely include these Corned Beef and Cabbage Bites from Thrifty Jinxy. How good do these look?

I haven’t really branched out too much in my cooking, but even if I had, I doubt I could have come up with something as unique as this Corned Beef and Cabbage Pizza from Farm Fresh Feasts!

There’s no way I could do a round-up of Irish recipes and NOT include a traditional favorite: Irish Soda Bread! This one from Pack Momma looks good enough to eat off the computer screen!
