With today in the sixties for the high, it seems perfect that I’m sharing my fall decorating as part of the Fall Home Tour Blog Hop!
Today is Day Four of the Hop – make sure to check out the other great bloggers below and visit their home tours for added inspiration!
Having finally completed my stenciled dining room wall, the dining room was my first choice of rooms to get my fall decorating fix. I love the punch of orange against the blue in that room, and I was interested in mixing in some sparkly elements with traditional pumpkins and leaves.
The faux garland and ceramic pumpkins were part of my stash of decorations, but the lantern is my new splurge this year. Forty percent off with a coupon at Hobby Lobby, plus a few new glitter pumpkins and faux leaves to fill it with. I love it!
I mixed the “sparkle” in with these shiny silver place mats laid over my bright white ones, plus the silver candle holders I’ve had for a while. No candles in them yet, but I don’t feel like they are missing them anyway.
Another steal for this season are these burlap chargers I got on sale at Michaels.
A nice mix of old and new is key, so of course I brought back out my autumn sign from last year. 🙂
The faux leaves really add the perfect punch of color. The fact that they are super cheap isn’t even noticeable, they just look pretty!
A few dollar store mums {lovingly ripped from their plastic stems, lol} fill my iron pumpkin for even more color.
And that’s my fall dining room! Now I just need to host a dinner party! 🙂 We like to do a “Friends-giving” with our closest friends each year, so I’ll just leave these up for a while. 🙂
