**I received the above product complimentary from Soufeel, however all opinions are honest and my own.
I am not always the greatest of daughters. My mother is a part time nanny for us and immensely helpful to us on a daily basis with our two boys. She is forever helping around the house, with the boys, the lawn, whatever. I think sometimes she’s catching up for the years we lived in Vegas. However, with her here so often, I easily find myself taking her and her help for granted.
Once I realized what I was doing, I knew I needed to make a statement to remind her that we appreciate and love her devotion to us and especially our boys.
Since we do spend so much time together during the week, we don’t often see her on the weekends, outside of other family functions. For Mother’s Day, she went with my brother and his girlfriend for an outing, a nice deal for a mom with a son not living close to home. I spent Mother’s Day with the boys, working on a gift for her.
J and I created a fun and sentimental handprint bouquet of flowers for Nana, using his pretty little paws. 🙂
I love how simple and easy this craft is! J and I just picked a few pretty paint colors and went to town!!
Mixing colors is not only encouraged, it is the preferred method for fun “flowers”!
I basically just let J go to town, and when we had several good prints, I cut them out. A few were overlapped, which I think made for some pretty combinations. A little double sided tape in appropriate places, and we were starting to see our handprint bouquet.
For the “vase”, I dug into my stash of scrapbook paper and cut a simple vase shape. Easy peasy!
Now, while I knew Nana was sentimental enough to love her hand print bouquet, I also felt she deserved something extra special. Something to show her how much we truly appreciate her. When I saw the possibilities available in true shiny/pretty/sparkly fashion at Soufeel, I knew I found THE gift.
I absolutely loved creating this bracelet. I even considered making one for myself! Soufeel is awesome in that it offers sterling charms and LOTS of variety, but at a totally reasonable cost. The bracelet I created for my mother was just over $100, and came with free shipping. All orders over $50 offer free shipping worldwide, and a 365 day return and exchange guarantee.
She absolutely freaked out.
We’re talking tears in the eyes. She choked up and was completely – as they say in SNL – “ferklempt”. In today’s world, that of course means she immediately posted to Facebook.
It was amazing to see the options available when I was picking these charms. The “Nana” charm was a no-brainer, but I loved that I was able to add such personally beautiful adornments. For this, I added the initial charms of J and H for the two boys, and two birthstone charms for September and July (their birth months) to coordinate.
I think it is safe to say she is rocking this bracelet.
The rope chain and charms are so gorgeous, I think I need to beg and plead for my own Soufeel bracelet next year!
You can still get Mom (or yourself!) an awesome present this year and save 5%!
