Add a touch of wintry elegance to your front porch decor with a beautiful wreath hung by ribbon over your window!
Christmas decorating is one of my favorite times of the year! We have a tradition in our family every Black Friday to get up early, go Christmas tree cutting, and then come home to decorate the house for the holidays!
Over the years, I’ve stocked up quite a large supply of Christmas decorations. I can’t even use them all without looking like a Christmas bomb went off in the house! However, I still love to add new, beautiful pieces to my stash. . .
When I had the opportunity to add two of these beautiful berry and pine cone wreaths from Wayfair to my planned porch decor this year, I was thrilled! The selection of Christmas decor was so massive, I had a hard time narrowing it down, but I am very happy with my decision.
These wreaths are so beautiful, nice and full, and the perfect size to grace my two porch windows! I was a little uncertain at first about how to hang them, but the lovely grey snowflake ribbon I found gave me the idea to hang them from nails about the windows.
My mother was the one to first come up with this fun Santa Claus sack decor. We stuffed the sack with boxes wrapped as presents, and created a few extra to sit along the side of the bench. The two presents sitting on the left of the bench are actually pillows my aunts and I made YEARS ago….
My mother used to set my brother’s old worn out boots next to the sack, but he re-confiscated them for his move to Texas. I decided to borrow my husband’s Uggs instead! 😉 I love the homage to St. Nick from the combination of the sack, the boots, and the hat.
